We had a wonderful trip back in September. This is one of my favourite pictures from our vacation! We were on the Alii Kai Catamaran Dinner Cruise in Oahu, and the sunset hit the boat at the perfect spot!

This annual event organized by the Honolulu Mayor’s office is a very popular event held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, which is also known as Punchbowl. The Royal Hawaiian Band will be performing at this service that starts at 8:30am and lasts through 10am.

Joan’s photo was taken around sunset from Princeville on the north shore of Kauai. This Princeville perch provides a beautiful overlook of Hanalei Bay.

The slivers of pink in the clouds, the rolling surf along with the mountain and palm tree silhouettes all combine for a heavenly scene.
