Mahalo to Shane Eubanks from Georgia for sharing this gorgeous sunset photo with us for Aloha Friday Photos. Shane took this photo from Lahaina while visiting Maui last month. Shane tells us that there had been a rainstorm that day that broke just before sunset. The sky was so spectacular that Shane didn’t even have to use a camera filter to enhance the colors.

Happy Aloha Friday!

We love this incredible Santa story shared by Annie Chavez-Hollingshead. Even though we’ve shared this story years ago, we’re still amazed and feel that it’s definitely worth revisiting considering that Christmas is quickly approaching.

Annie visited the summit of Haleakala for sunrise in 2007. She said everyone was wrapped up as warmly as they could be on this frigid December morning. It was so chilly, snow flurries were dancing in the...

Mahalo to Devesh Tripathi for sharing this stunning ariel view of windward Oahu with us for Aloha Friday Photos. He entitled this shot “Leading Lines.”

Devesh didn’t mention exactly where this photo was taken. Our guess is that the highway is probably the H3 — which is one of only three interstates…or should we say intrastates… in Hawaii. All three are on Oahu. No matter which freeway is in the picture, we can agree that...
